A Day of Giving Back in Chicago

Giving is at the heart of everything we do, and on March 19, 2026, that mission came to life in a powerful way in Chicago.

We partnered with longtime friend of the brand and creator Madeline Ford to bring together a community of changemakers for a meaningful day of service. Alongside Team Thrive Causemetics, Madeline and a group of creator friends spent the day volunteering with one of our National Giving Partners, Feeding America, at their local network partner, the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Together, our group of volunteers rolled up their sleeves to sort and pack food that went directly to families across the Greater Chicago area. It was a hands-on reminder of the power of community, and how collective action can help make a real difference.

Supporting the Fight Against Hunger

The Greater Chicago Food Depository is more than a food bank; it’s a lifeline for the community. Serving all of Cook County, they work with more than 800 local partners, including food pantries, shelters, and meal programs, to ensure that anyone who needs help can access nutritious food. With 1 in 4 local families experiencing food insecurity, their work is essential.

As part of this volunteer experience, we were honored to surprise the Greater Chicago Food Depository with a $10,000 donation to support their hunger relief efforts, which will provide up to 30,000 meals for the Greater Chicago community. This contribution supports Feeding America’s mission to ensure that everyone has access to the food and resources they need to thrive.

Our partnership with Feeding America dates back to 2020, when we supported food assistance and COVID-19 relief efforts with a monetary donation of over $100,000. Today, Feeding America remains the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States, with a network of 200+ food banks and 60,000+ partner organizations working together to fight hunger nationwide.

Moments like this remind us that impact is built through both action and intention. Whether it’s volunteering side by side or giving back through donations, every effort counts. To show our appreciation, we also gifted Thrive Causemetics products to the incredible staff and volunteers at the Food Depository as a small ‘thank you’ for the big difference they make every single day.
